Georg Karl Immanuel Buddeus (1739 – 1814) a German author,  he was known as an occasional poet and popular because of his equally original and cheerful mood, as well as because of his staid and philanthropic character. He wrote: “Poems” (1789 and 1815) and “Franz von Sickingen” (1794).
