Johann von Döhring (1741 – 1818) a Danish / German poet and politician who began his public career as a Drost in Wolfenbüttel. He was appointed county governor of Sønderborg and Nordborg and later as a member of the royal Danish Secret Council. He has written some poems in various literary annuals, especially Göttinger Musenalmanach, some of which have been published in special editions. Wikipedia-DA
