Georges Adolphe Hue (1858 – 1948) was a French composer and teacher. After piano lessons with his mother, he studied counterpoint and fugue with Paladilhe and organ and composition with Franck and Reber at the Paris Cons. In 1922 he succeeded to Saint-Saëns’ seat in the Académie des Beaux-Arts. Wikipedia
