Giuseppe “Peppino” Turco (1846 – 1907) was an Italian songwriter. Turco was born in Naples. Initially he was a renowned journalist and poet, collaborating with the satirical newspaper Capitan Fracassa in Rome and various Neapolitan periodicals.
